We offer a range of internship opportunities for sharp individuals. Our goal is to develop new talent and test candidates for a right ‘fit’ for future full-time employment. We do this by offering relevant work experience on challenging projects and assignments.

As an intern, you’ll have the chance to gain exposure to a corporate environment, prepare for a full-time career and confirm or modify your career aspirations.

To be eligible, you must have a GPA of 3.00 or higher, proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and be actively enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in an appropriate course of study.

Most internships last 10 to 14 weeks. After completion, interns may be offered the chance to return the following summer or possibly gain full-time employment.

To apply, review the internship opportunities and submit an online application.

NextEra Energy also has apprenticeship programs in our distribution and nuclear business units.
