The HR4U Contact Center is available at 844-694-HR4U (4748) to help address personal needs.

The five things you need to know today:

  • Weather update: Tropical Depression 4 is already impacting parts of South Florida, including the tri-county area. This storm is also expected to bring severe weather conditions to different parts of Florida as it approaches landfall as early as Sunday night along the west coast. The west coast can expect to see tropical storm-force winds, heavy rainfall and flooding.
  • Stay safe: Please continue to keep safety top of mind. With weather conditions expected to deteriorate, we urge you to monitor your local weather and use caution when driving. If you’re working outside, please be mindful of heat and signs for heat stress and protect yourself from the elements by wearing sunscreen and insect repellent.
    • Use this safety guide for more information on staying safe before, during and after a storm.
  • Key takeaways: If the power is out and you plan to use a portable generator, please remember gasoline-powered generators produce potentially deadly carbon monoxide fumes. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Always run the generator outside of your home and away from open windows or doors.
  • Take action: If you haven't already done so, ensure your personal information in HR4U is up to date so the company can reach you through the Emergency Notification System (ENS), if needed.
    • Add the NextEra Alert / ENS phone numbers (561-375-9191 / 866-375-9191) to your phone contacts so you can recognize the calls.
  • Work instructions: Continue to stay in contact with your storm supervisor and know your storm role should you need to report after a storm.
