Annette Tornelli (far left) poses with Council of Catholic Women volunteers supporting the Hearts and Soles project.

Following more than 30 years of service with Florida Power & Light Company, Annette Tornelli, former FPL dispatcher for residential and commercial programs, dedicates her time supporting several organizations in her community.

For more than three years, Annette has supported the Palmetto Club of Daytona, which works to improve the community and help people through volunteer services. She collaborates with a group of women and helps raise money for charities in her community. She is also an active member of F.A.I.T.H., where she is working with city officials to increase funding for low-income housing, property flooding and prisoners to receive their prescribed medications as directed. And, for nearly 30 years, Annette has been a proud member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. All the organizations and activities have been extremely rewarding and has allowed Annette to create many friendships.

During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, outdoor activities and meeting up with old and new friends. When Annette isn’t supporting her volunteer efforts, she enjoys staying connected to the NextEra Energy family, serving as a Retiree Network Chapter Co-Coordinator for the North Retiree Chapter.
