Following more than 40 years of service with Florida Power & Light Company, Manny Miranda, former FPL executive vice president of power delivery, has committed his time to mentoring future leaders and contributing to various boards.

With a passion for cultivating future leaders, Manny remains involved with his alma mater, the University of Miami, and offers guidance to many he has encountered throughout his career. His exceptional contributions have been recognized with his induction into the Power Delivery Hall of Fame.

“This is a prestigious honor that I treasure deeply,” Manny said.

His commitment to excellence continues to inspire those around him. Manny’s journey serves as a testament to the impact of leadership and mentoring on the growth of individuals and the industry.

Since retiring, Manny has needed to get accustomed to his new lifestyle – he has had a hard time adjusting to a slower paced routine, and whenever he finds himself with some down time, he tends to go for a run and comes up with new ideas and adventures to plan. During his spare time, he enjoys relaxing at his cabin in North Carolina, traveling to new places and checking things off his bucket list like attending the Olympics in Paris. Manny appreciates spending time with his family and friends.
