Now that you’ve reported cybersecurity’s mock phishing email, here are helpful tips to ensure you stay safe:

  1. Delete the email immediately.
  2. Do not click on the link.
  3. Do not forward the email to coworkers – If a coworker clicks the link, you will receive the click on your record.
  4. Do not forward the email to external accounts, including your personal email.
  5. Per policy, clicking the link before or after reporting the mock phish counts as a click on your record.
     

All recorded clicks require a computer-based security awareness training. The escalation level and respective training will depend on how many times you have clicked a mock phishing link in the previous 12-month period.
