Join the Ignite Data Analytics Program and work alongside NextEra Energy’s most talented data experts. Along the way, you will sharpen your skills through data science and analytics training and hands-on learning from top industry leaders.
What will I work on?
Over the course of your first 12 months, you will work on several impactful data analytics projects that address real and meaningful opportunities at NextEra Energy.

When you complete the program, your skillset will be in high demand, and you will be eligible to transition into full-time high impact Data Science and Data Analytics roles throughout the enterprise.
This program welcomes new candidates twice a year with start dates in February and August.
Eligibility Requirements
- Hold an undergraduate, masters, or PhD degree in a technology or mathematics discipline or, within the degree program, have sufficient data science and analytics related coursework and/or projects.
- Be passionate about data, know how to code (examples: python, SQL, R) and have a portfolio of sample data analytics projects that demonstrate analytic acumen.
- Have a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
